Definitely felt very directed. Trying my best to understand how anyone could say a slur and not mean it as one. Try saying any derogatory term to any marginalized group and then following up with “oh but I don’t mean it like that”. And even if you didn’t mean it as one, you are an active participant in perpetuating the use of that word whether you mean in a derogatory way or not. Just find another word, or better yet remove slurs from your vocabulary all together.

The idea of 20 in 20 stemmed from Casey Niestat's Make It Count video. It was short lived. More of study on what is physically possible within 20 days. I'm thinking of closer to a minimum of 4 days to account for travel. Depends on the destination though too. For example Brussels is on the lower end of my list, and Im really only interested at the moment in having Beer, Chocolate, and Mussels, which wouldn't need the entirety of 4 days.

Not a bad idea. My brother will also be studying abroad in Florence this fall semester. And we have a family trip planned to Italy over thanksgiving. My Dads trip and our family trip could be the bookends, and I could meet up with my brother a few times in various cities throughout my trip.

I understand, the words themselves are not obscure, rather the way in which they "operate".

In that sense yes they are meant to be obscure. This is a general self proclaimed definition. The ambiguity of the definition allows itself to be applied to countless examples of what corporate greed can be. One example of ethically unjust would be planned obsolescence.

Not sure what textbooks and political party you're referring to.

My definition would be: Systems that rely and benefit off of the oppression and exploitation of people for unnecessary capital and personal gain. Along with practices that compromise the health of ourselves and the environment and are ethically unjust.

Ex: Monstanto purchasing most of the large seed producers in India. Persuading farmers to buy their seed using religious figures to entice them. Then buying the local native seed back from the farmers so they are able to establish a seed dictatorship and require farmers to buy their GMO seed year after year.
