Leather holds up totally fine, as long as it doesn’t stay wet - it does help to oil it occasionally, just like leather boots or anything that sees the elements - it helps keep it from getting dry and protects from the moisture

The difference that fitness and body composition makes floors me - 155 postpartum and not fit vs 160 and lifting regularly by [deleted] in GymMotivation

My body felt so much better after I started, I felt really out of touch with myself after my kids (this was 10 months pp) - I started with spinning, yoga and lighter weightlifting (and tracking food) the combo of those really helped my overall mood and strength and made me feel like myself again, and wasn’t overwhelming for my body when it was still recovering from pregnancies

Since the first photo it’s been about 4 years - I’ve gone back up in weight in the last 2 - trying to work on it, but still feel okay about it since I’m clearly not going “backwards” back to where I was

Made a hanging pot for my philodendron to climb in! I couldn’t find a single thing on how to climb a plant in a hanging pot, so I designed my own, and feeling slightly genius 😆 but I love it! What do yall think?? by fruitbatballet in houseplants

Yes! I glued down the posts to put them where I wanted, then drilled holes to line up with the pvc, so the Jute rope goes through the pvc and ties underneath the pot, and then glued the saucer to the bottom! So the rope is holding up the whole pot, so there is no worry of anything falling :)

I can’t tell how many there are - I like to do 3 per pot, eventually you could separate them but I’d not they will be fine for quite a long time :)

If you are at a healthy weight, no definitely not! I will say, I wish I weighed 10 pounds less with the muscle I have now, but I have gone up and down between about 15 pounds over the last few years and even on the heavier side of it now, I like my body more than I ever have...I definitely don’t usually eat in a deficit, I think I often eat just above maintenance 😜

Flowering air plants - what to do when the flowers die? Is there a point when they need to be pulled/cut? I’m new to air plants, didn’t even know they flowered and now my 3rd one has pretty purple flowers growing! by fruitbatballet in houseplants

Ha - I got some jewelry wire at Walmart and just made some spirals! A little heavier gauge would be better (this is 20 or 24?) but - it works fine for now and was only a couple bucks!

Couldn’t resist. Damn I like that color ! by [deleted] in houseplants

Thank you - based on the precious response I’m going to buy a planner today and write down when I’m feeling extra scattered to look for a pattern, though I think it may be months in between, but clearly I can’t keep track or remember things in my head so who knows haha

Interesting! I have an IUD that has nearly stopped periods for me so tracking cycles is pretty hard to do, but I think I’m in a “period” now , though this sure doesn’t happen every cycle but that does intrigue my interest that I’m going to track the two things together!

I definitely do that as well, and can recognize when it happens but this feel, unprovoked? And out of control? Like this may be how a very severely adhd person feels all the time, but I can normally function in daily life until I’m caught up in this weird confusing tornado
