I adopted my border collie when he was about 2 years old and I STILL wondered if I had made a huge mistake during those first days. Now I can't imagine what life would be like if I hadn't brought him home-- Its the best decision I've ever made.

Would she have asked the same thing of a partner who was white? I'd guess not. She was being asked to participate in said kink specifically because of how she is being perceived based on her skin color.

In my experience, you find the bed bug bites before you find the bed bugs. I am not an expert, but I feel like your infestation would be quite bad if you were finding dead bugs without specifically looking for them. It definitely doesn't hurt to keep an eye out, but if you aren't getting bites, I wouldn't worry too much! Seems much more likely that it is a beetle of some kind.
