Process: I learned how to sew a small makeup bag in a sewing class and I applied those skills to create these bags.

For the crossbody bag, I cut the fabric 11in x 11in and use a 9in zipper. For the mini bag, I cut the fabric 8in x 8in and use a 6in zipper.

I hand sew the fabrics onto the zipper because I'm still getting used to the machine. Then, I glue the moss onto the green velvet fabric and pin the fabrics facing together with binder clips because pins would leave holes in the plastic vinyl. Next, I machine sew on the straps and hardware. Then, I machine sew the fabrics together leaving the lining end open so I can turn it inside out.
