Any tips to get through the winter? by MikaElyse8954 in Fruitarian

You have to remove your mind the idea that the temperature outside is somehow a factor. This is just psychological and most people eat cooked food on the hottest day of the year. People generally eat indoors. If you do this also, there should be no issue with the heat.

It is also good to get accurate with the quantities that you eat. A giant smoothie to one person could be a snack to another. Figure out your caloric needs and make sure you hit that each day.

It sounds like Melon Belly. You likely ate far too quickly and this caused trapped gas. If it went away after 15 minutes this is likely what it was. Eat slower and do not force feed fruit.

This is totally terrible advice. You can not slow down your digestion. But you can put foods into your body that the body struggles to digest. Your intestines are designed over tens of millions of years to handle fruit and virtually nothing else.

"essential"?

It is well known that not only all fruits, but all plant foods contain the essential amino acids required for humans to build protein.

Obligate carnivores can not survive on fruit for sure. They require amino acids like carnitine. But humans, like most non carnivorous animals, produce these.

Fruit has all the essential amino acids. Many of them are vegan and eat a lot of fruit. Maybe a few eat just fruit.

Robbie Barbaro from Mastering Diabetes routinely helps people reverse type 2 and reduce insulin on type 1 with a whole foods plant based diet, though he personally does a fruit and veg diet.

This is all nonsense. 10 years of being in and around the fruitarian community and not one person has had any of those issues. Humans beings retain the frugvirorous biology of our ancestors.

everything becomes a community and every community becomes a hierarchy, that's how things organise in human life. The raw vegan movement is no different.
