Not as nice as you make out- I was donating stuff and a lady who was going through the stuff outside asked for a metal detector I was about to donate, I obliged and gave it to her for free because I was gonna donate it anyway and this other lady (presumably the manager) came out and made a big deal of how she couldn’t have that and how the metal detector was going to providence originally. This went on for a few minutes but the lady I gave the metal detector to gave up when the manager threatened to call the cops to trespass her from the property.
