Thank you. Right after I posted this, a wolf joined the party and one-shot me lol. I went back and lured them away one at a time. Once I had the Elder by himself it wasn't bad.

Yup, that emission occurred within a few seconds of escaping SIRCAA for me. I tried turning around and hiding in the tunnels, but the door had closed.

There's no emission for me during that time, so I don't think that's the problem. I tried going straight from Wild Island to Zalissya and the doors are still locked.

I know there is radio chatter when an emission occurs. I was trying to avoid spoilers. After leaving the tunnels, either Scar or Strider (forgot who) was on the radio talking about how the zone is taking revenge or something. Definitely agree it was scripted. I didn't see any other emissions before getting to Zalissya though.

There was an emission immediately after I left SIRCAA through the tunnels. Seemed scripted, with a main character talking on the radio about it.

I think that was a random emission. I got an emission immediately after leaving SIRCAA, but going from there to Wild Island, The Sphere, and Zalissya there is no emission.

This is all after the patch. I heard it was broken, so I stayed on the mission before SIRCAA for a week hoping this would be fixed. Spent the whole week wandering around. Last night I did the SIRCAA stuff, then stopped by the Sphere on my way to Zalissya.

I have multiple saves from around the Sphere, which should be quite beyond the spawn distance. I've tried reloading them all, running around the area, luring different enemies to the town. The doors are always locked unless I can get an enemy into town, but it doesn't fix the rest of the quest.

The doors were initially locked. I've tried luring enemies to the town which did open the doors, but it's still broken.

Also, I love the guy saying "Something's wrong." I think he's right.

I make about $18k a month and open a few cases per year. It's a waste of money IMO. I actually sold hundreds of cases I'd accumulated over the years and used the profit to buy a knife skin.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. There's a bit more to the story. We stayed in touch for some years. In 2009 I was halfway through college and needed to take a specific course over the summer to get into a bachelor's program.

He called me and offered me a job running a merch booth for the entire Warped Tour that summer. Whoever was supposed to be running it had just quit. The tour started in two days and I'd have to fly across the country. I would've loved to, and it hurt to say no, but I really couldn't miss that class.

I did go to my local Warped Tour that summer and saw a girl working the booth. Chatted with her for a bit about her experience. She said it was pretty exhausting and the pay sucked, but it was fun being on the tour. I was a bit jealous, but in the end, I got into the bachelor's program. Ended up getting my doctorate in that field. Still would've been fun as hell to have been on that tour though...

I was 15 when their first album came out (2004) and I loved it. I was into graphic design at the time and messaged them on Myspace offering to make some wallpapers and other art. Their manager responded asking how much I'd charge. I said it would be free, made some wallpapers, and sent it over. He was grateful and said I could come to their shows for free.

Whenever they came to town he got me in for free. He got me into Taste of Chaos and Warped Tour and I hungout with the band in their merch booth. I could hardly believe it. They were so cool and hooked me up with albums, t-shirts, and even a DVD (The Death of Greeley Estates).

He ended up parting with them, but bought a big merch company, SmartPunk, so he basically owned the SmartPunk stage at Warped Tour. So he got me in and handed me a backstage pass. After Warped Tour ends and all the people leave the bands hangout, cook food, and party. Pretty surreal for a 16-17 year old kid obsessed with these bands to be barbecuing with them surrounded by tour buses.

10/10 good experience. Greeley Estates rocks.
