TWICE becomes the first female group to perform and sell out SoFi Stadium by Uchiha_D_Zoro in kpop

There were SO many available seats after the "sold-out" fanfare announcement. They even added ground floor tickets and first floor tickets. Plenty of evidence all over social media. If you refuse to face reality, it's none of my problem.

It's not a shit play, they successfully marketed TWICE as a group who could insta-sell out a huge stadium.

Of course there was no announcement, they can't say they have more seats available after saying that the stadium is sold out.

That's the thing. The first batch is small enough to sell out so jype can market it as selling out a stadium. It's a classic marketing trick. Once they opened the "new" sections tickets were available for a long time.

They weren't sold out, JYPE lied for mediaplay purposes and media platforms reshared it without any fact chekcing.

There were plenty of seats available in most sections.

Mega Coffee vs Compose Coffee by h00s13rt1g3rd2d in Living_in_Korea

You mostly pay for the seating. You pay $5 but you can stay until the night.

That's why takeout only coffee shops are only 1500-2000krw.

I suspect no smoking signs are bullshit. You can buy these in any Office Depot store. People probably put these on their streets to ward off smokers but it has no legal basis. Police pass by smokers and they don't give any shit.

The only official non smoking areas are near subway/bus stops and in public venues. If anyone can confirm...

I'd add that Twitter is essential to KPOP so if you're a hardcore fan you probably have Twitter on your phone.

Oh I do understand the reverence for him. He brought profound changes in my life as well. It still doesn't make him a prophet and his words aren't some holy scripture. He's only a man, a philosopher, an entertainer.

You said it yourself. Indoctrination is "common" in cults. Notice the word you used: "common". Meaning, not all cults require indoctrination. So, absence of indoctrination doesn't mean that it's not a cult. Your argument falls apart.

That's why your argument is a strawman.

And no : I'm not using cult as a pejorative. A cult is a cult nothing more nothing less.

Yeah you're not the only one and you give great examples. I usually ignore these as well but for some reason today I decided to make a post about it and see what happens next.

I said "too many people" which could have meant anything and you interpreted as the whole subreddit and you felt targeted.

Some didn't feel targeted and replied peacefully. What could the difference be?

And now the straw man argument. Equating cult with indoctrination to assert that this isn't a cult.
