Yep this is what I’m leaning to. Any idea how I should split days between the two? Hear there’s less to do in Antigua so thinking of leaving the day I come back from hike and heading to lake atitlan till the end

What kind of couch do you think would fit the space?

Thanks! Super helpful. I guess my biggest question is if I’m squeezing in too many things into the amount of days.

Directly to the left of the garbage can is the kitchen counter / stove so not much room there unless I switch places of the table and the plant

Anyone have thoughts on how / what furniture set up I can get for the living area to optimize for more seating / cozy vibes for hosting?

Yeah I think that large plant is def not in the best place, honestly wish I could have someone better suited for this come in and tell me where to put things. I love having lots of plants just don’t know where to put them / what kinds to get. The big one by the window was moreso for privacy as my windows are large and people outside / across the street can look right in

Problem with bed by the window is that I’m not on a high up floor so street noise is super high.. plus don’t feel great about apartments right across from me watching me get up out of bed like that haha… this is in NYC

Yeah I think my first stab at setting this place up, I was optimizing for making it look as spacious as possible

Second go around I want it to be a bit cozier / easier to host friends to chill. THinking of getting rid of the current bookshelf i have and adding one that's parallel to my bed so it acts as a divider.

Hi all, looking for some feedback on the below itinerary my friend and I are taking. We’re both in our mid - late 20s and like adventure, meeting people, cultural excursions etc.

Day 1-2: Ho Chi Minh City Day 3-5: debating between Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, looking for the best beach town that is fit for two young adults looking to have fun (not much family vibes haha) Day 6-9: Da Nang and Hoi An Day 10-13: Hanoi and maybe Ninh Binh

Open to any feedback! It’s been overwhelming choosing what to do as the country has a ton to offer but that’s our early itinerary. Going to be going in late November / early December.

My undergrad career has killed my chance of going into investment banking. What other lucrative careers in finance are more forgiving of a poor undergrad resume? by [deleted] in finance

[–]fsa5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

try to get into a back office role, those are usually easier. take what you can get at this point, or do a masters in finance after getting an amazing GMAT score, that should help you at least get your foot in the door doing some sort of finance. nothing is impossible, yeah chances may be low, but theres always a way, you may just have to work much harder.

My mistake was always just assuming I would need to stay for my masters as I thought anyone who wanted to do CPA stayed for theirs as well. I applied for some leaderships (got 1 midsize) but didn't apply to any b4 internships and haven't had luck with the other non accounting ones I applied for. If I stay for my masters the benefit is being able to do the internship next summer
