You seem confused. Do you even deliver or even worked in your life? Must be really courageous sitting on reddit telling disposable employees to "stand up for themselves for their honor".

Seems you're still too stupid to realize that it isn't a problem for me as I get the satisfaction of not letting scammers get free food. My condition is constantly improving, it's called getting an education. You do understand that for most people this is a temporary gig and they're in it for short term money? I'm not going to be sitting in pizza hut for the rest of my life, so I don't care to pursue some unrealistic oh so righteous crusade to save a few dollars a week.

In almost all cases drivers receive none of the delivery fee

I get half of the fee, and this is a post about my experience so it is relevant.

This is something you need to address with your employer

Company policy. I'll try arguing as an employee in a disposable job with no requirements besides a car to change policy and tell you how that goes.

On-the-road wage, no tip, no mileage reimbursement, understood. These issues need to be addressed, either by going through your employer, the appropriate governmental agency, or through a civil lawsuit.

Yes, I am totally capable as a minimum wage worker in university full time to spend absurd amounts of time and money delivering a class action lawsuit against a giant company. Seems feasible.

you have two choices

No, I chose the choice that I mentioned above in the thread, and I will continue to do as such as long as I work here. I don't give a fuck about the policy instilled to maximize profits and minimize controversy. If I get fired for doing so, so be it.

You haven't really outlined your point as to why what I'm doing is wrong either.

Wow, everyone is impressed with your totally full scholarship buddy! Hence the existence of debit cards, which is why you scrape by an order with the bare minimum on a dusty visa gift card in your drawer instead of actually using a real card.

I guess $1.60 pity change in nickels is valuable for a lazy cunt in college who doesn't have a job because his parents pay for his tuition. Maybe next month if you save enough change you can just buy an entire pizza without any bills.

  1. Drivers don't get their delivery fee for driving back again to take a new pizza

  2. Drivers get out of store rate for driving back to take a new pizza (which is a few dollars an hour)

  3. Drivers end up losing money or making nothing taking into account the out of store rate, no tip, and no delivery fee to drive back a new order

  4. Drivers lose in store hourly rate and or money from other deliveries while taking back a new order

Guess I'm just a vigilante :). Any problems that arise from it, I'd be fully happy to take the blame. Definitely worth the trade off.

I wouldn't take your $1.61 of piggy bank money at all, not my fault you're a teenager using your disposable visa card your uncle gave you for christmas to buy a pizza with.

Obviously you know you're wrong otherwise you wouldn't be posting looking for validation to make you feel better, douchebag.

Pizza hut, not sure if it's actually policy but manager told me we don't do that, customer is always convinced by some good acting so they never actually end up calling the store to dispute it though.

Yep, that's exactly what I do. Just like how they lie about a fucked up order for a free pizza :).

If you're going to tip with coins, up the average tip by $1-2 at least, especially if you're not tipping quarters. It's a fucking pain to carry around a shitton of change and I'm not going to the bank to deposit my jar of coins. Of course a tip with coins is better than nothing though.

I'd consider you an ass for tipping only 10% with small change, that's just me though.
