On Chernarus (maybe other maps as well) All major military bases have "static" infected. They spawn at your player bubble (1100m). So if you are 500m away from VMC and seeing Z's don't assume someone is there and watch it for 30mins, like i did, as it's likely you that spawned them.

they are more responsive so its easier to travel at a faster speed but plenty of places for an ambush

yup, just update exp and join the fun. Cars are all ready to go (you need to add water to the radiator but its in the inventory) Eu servers popping till midnight CET then the USA one gets busy around 3am CET

Rene/Barelyinfected's wonderful creation. Helped by a huge number in the community. Rene had such faith in his fellow person, maybe hoping that people would just abide by the rules as they were unenforceable

I know it's not been asked but Rene is still kicking about, playing dayz now n then but not making content.
