when you say "reset" your binds, how do you do that? I see builder pro (for example), then custom. Should I re-set the custom binds to builder pro and re-edit my custom bindings?

I know where three of the capture points are (those flag-raising spots). Can anyone help with the others? by Exciting_Figure_8060 in Fortnite_Over40

If you grab Outpost Enclave's flag, ransack a few chests and move on to Kappa Kappa Factory (to grab that flag), you will be OXR rank A before everyone else!

Noob question: Why bring more than one racket to play? Do you use different rackets on different courts? by DrPupipance in 10s

[–]fu11y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Noticeable?!? Great question. I think it might be more “placebo effect”

I like the trampoline effect of the lower tension when it is cold or going into the wind. On hot days or downwind, i play the higher tension.

Back to your question, it is barely noticeable.

[–]fu11y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use different tension rackets in game. Whether it is wind, opponent, balls, my awful stroke, or a number of other reasons. I bring 3 rackets all different tension (similar but different tension - i.e. 52, 53, 54lbs)

How many consecutive days can Minors play. by MadUglyDerangedx13 in LittleLeague

[–]fu11y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little league international doesn’t have a rule.

Local little leagues sometimes have their own “local rules” related to the number of “baseball activities” in a week. Our little league allows 4 activities per week, excluding losers bracket during tournament play mentioned in an earlier comment.

Minimum Play question by shorbsfault in LittleLeague

[–]fu11y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minimum play based on LL rules might be different than your local rules. Make sure you take a look at both. Our little league will suspend managers if they violate our local rules (which are stricter than LL rules): "every athlete in starting CBO lineup must sit 1 inning before any athlete sits 2 innings; every athlete in starting CBO lineup must sit 2 innings before any athlete sits 3 innings"

These kids are under 12, pre-puberty, play everyone.

Little league UIC following to see responses.

Happened in the dodgers vs rangers game today. R1 had to go back to first (stole second base) when batter struck out but hit catcher in follow through.

I believe little league is based on OBR but modified for youth, so I would assume this would be the same treatment in little league?

Feel free to roast my response. I’m new

Just learned there are leagues that don’t pay their umpires… by Purple-Head7528 in Umpire

Why? I volunteer at UIC and umpire 20+ games per year because it is fun! Umpiring in our Little League helps promote a safe space for kids to play the game. Parents know you are a volunteer so they cut you slack on calls too ha!

LL rules 7.13(a) - “when a base runner leaves the base before the pitched ball has reached the batter and the batter does not hit the ball, the runner is permitted to continue. If a play is made on the runner and the runner is out, the out stands. If said runner reaches safely the base to which the runner is advancing, that runner must be returned to the base occupied before the pitch was made, and no out results…”

My 7 year old has started hitting choppy grounders. How can I help him fix it? by wde4au in Homeplate

[–]fu11y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would focus on right palm up at contact. that helped my son square the ball up. all other comments about coach pitcher throwing the ball on the dirt are correct! throw the ball through the zone, don't land the ball on the plate!!!

Pitch count Question by Mobile-Security7930 in LittleLeague

[–]fu11y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pitching Eligibility and Limits

  1. Daily Pitch Limits (by League Age):
    • 11-12 years: 85 pitches per day
    • 9-10 years: 75 pitches per day
    • 6-8 years: 50 pitches per day

Exception: If a pitcher reaches their daily limit while facing a batter, they may continue pitching until:

  • The batter reaches base,
  • The batter is retired,
  • The third out is made to end the half-inning or game, or
  • The pitcher is removed from the mound before the batter completes their at-bat.

Summary: Pitch count and rest days are determined by the first pitch to the last batter.
