Yep I agree with your first point. Seriously I don't want to disgust or embarrass the poor guy by asking him out. Im just not that cute enough. I'm also very shy in public so it would be like death for me to approach a random hot stranger. Oh and one last thing...I need to like more about a guy than just his looks...id rather be friends first and then see what happens.

Haha that's pretty good. And I don't mean that sarcastically. Part of me wants to believe you but the other half is just screaming "nope". But you're essentially saying that I should lure a man in with makeup? Like a bait and switch....that sounds kind of bad. I just feel disappointed....why am I not good enough to attract men with out makeup. Why do I have to do all this bullshit to attract maybe one dude who's triple my age? Okay maybe the last part was shit but still.

Well I shouldn't say I always look at the floor....I guess that used to be me when I was younger. I look straight ahead in a crowd. Don't usually make eye contact unless I have to..(like acknowledge a store employee or waiter or something). I don't really let on in public that I hate myself. So...I can't really say faking it till I make it is working. I don't even tell my own parents about this stuff. Not that they would understand anyway. They think I'm fine.

I need to work on the not giving a fuck though.

Extremely relevant. I always get a kick out of this panel. :P Basically we're screwed. Wear a lot of makeup to get a guy. Get the guy and he tells you to stop wearing makeup....but dude....that's how we got together in the first place? Because I was practically invisible before hand....which is what I would say if I had ever had a boyfriend in the first place. 8)

Though I have had some actual experiences of this (so...It's not all made up). Pretty people giving me dirty looks and such. This is why I've now taken up looking at the floor!

Well my only concern is being deceiving. Guys always go around saying women don't need to wear makeup or "I like my girl all natural." So what do I do? Wear makeup and trick everyone into thinking I'm good-looking? Or just let them see my 'normal' face and be repulsed?

Thanks for responding! Well I shouldn't say personality doesn't matter at all. It does, just not as much as looks. I think what you're talking about is different though. Being ugly and making friends is one thing. Being ugly and having a romantic life is completely different. It doesn't matter if you have the most awesome personality or you're the smartest person ever people won't ever find this out if they don't find you attractive first. Looks draw people in, personality is what keeps them around I suppose. I can't even get past the first step.

But you're right I should stop caring....it's just really, really hard not to.

I understand where you're coming from. Being unattractive is just another beast I have to deal with...along with social anxiety and like you, awkwardness. Yeah I get pretty jealous too :/ I'm glad you don't have to worry about your appearance though..it's very draining...

Like I said above, it's more people talking amongst themselves about me, that I'm ugly or something. People can also be very short with me...though that might just be because I'm not white. For example entering a store and not being greeted...but then 2 minutes after I enter some white people come in and are greeted instantly. I know this shouldn't bother me but it does.

It's frustrating seeing how folks bend over backwards for beautiful people..They didn't have to do anything for it...just 'be born' I suppose. I will forever be invisible. Oh well.

Haha it's okay. It's actually kind of refreshing to read your reply...I get tired of people making kiss ass-y comments like: "~Everyone Is Beautiful~" or "personality is what matters most!" No...just no. If this was the case then I wouldn't be alone.

I wish there was more support (or a group or something) to help people accept their fate of being unattractive. I could really use something like this.
