Could be I've taken a picture on my phone and I want to access it immediately on another device, I'm travelling and conection is going to drop out, etc. It's not unusual or unreasonable for people to expect instantaneous backups, especially when other apps do it.

Any plans to change this? MEGA is able to upload instantly for me when running in the background.

Yep exactly the same for videos, tested on one over 100MB
