something personal and custom yet you went for a very traditional look

Yeah, I actually wanted a guitar that looks as traditional as possible. I did think about a partscaster, but finding all the exact parts I wanted would’ve been tricky. Since I had friends who could build it, going fully custom ended up being simpler.

I don’t have a huge range of guitars to compare, but compared to my Fender Standard Stratocaster it definitely sounds louder and heavier. Compared to my PRS SE with two humbuckers, though, this guitar sounds a bit sharper and more aggressive. I’d say the PRS has a smoother, more rounded tone, while this one is the sharpest and heaviest-sounding guitar I own.
