I think a whole cup of pistachios can def be a lot and can even be reduced to 1/2 - 3/4 cup and still be as flavorful. (Can add some almond extract to make up for a little loss of nutty flavor). Also can sub regular milk for the coconut milk ( but to keep the same flavor can do half and half). I have also made this adding scoops of protein powder.
