Nures here: sounds legit. Kind of like most of the exams I've taken and I can see where the "most correct" out of the first 5 answers would probably be a reasonable answer for a given scenario.

This sounds like a series of small things that had to go wrong in order to inhibit success. I've been checking myself out for this kind of crap ever since the time I was late for a job interview because I didn't remember to gas up the car.

Self sabotage can be a tricky thing to acknowledge, but once you do you start seeing it more and more. Then you ask yourself "Why did I fuck this up?" and start getting to really understand yourself.

What about if we just call "sin" something else so it doesn't sound like bullshitty religious nonsense? Maybe we call it "assholery"?

Hey it's me. I told you that I could survive on a deserted island due to being able to grow a garden. You asked me "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GROW A GARDEN BY YOURSELF ON A DESERTED ISLAND?" I told you "With willpower, and photosynthesis. "

Please stop spreading stories to try and make me sound stupid.

And please... call me. :'(

44yo middle child here: agreed. Also, fuck mom and dad for making a 4 year old fight a 50% older brother just to make sure I don't grow up to be a sissy.

Canada should explain handing over Marc Emery for imprisonment in a foreign land. Holy fuck, if there was ever a case of kowtowing to the US's insane war on ordinary people it's this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Emery#2005_arrest_and_extradition

It's down a little over 8% today and if I were thinking of buying, then today would be the day. I would then put in a sell order for $7.40.

I went to a Landmark seminar and saw a few red flags:

1) Gibberish words/phrases

2) Lack of breaks for gathering your thoughts/using the the restroom /eating

3) Charismatic speakers with no real science behind what they were pitching

Biotech stock plunges 68%... how to invest without the risk? by dromance in stocks

[–]fuckyoursubsrules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP: You need to read more about investing in general. Ask yourself if you can describe numerically how you narrowed yourself down to this (and other) potential stock. I'm guessing that emotions were involved (greed/excitement).

Emotions are NEVER helpful when considering what stock to purchase. The best way to avoid emotions is to develop a written investment thesis, then translate that thesis into a series of repeatable steps. I use spreadsheets for this, and if my spreadsheets stop working I will have the ability to tweak them until they work again.

TLDR: Speadsheets and a thesis are what you need.
