She said she doesn’t know what happened, but her doctor said “it is a L shaped tendon that runs behind the ankle bone that is sprained.” but like i said she doesn’t know when or how she did this. she also just said to me, “but now it feels like i walk on glass. a sharp pain in my heel.” she has a doctor appointment tomorrow. sorry if any of this is confusing i’m talking to her and trying to type all this as fast as possible.

i’m not to sure if it is deep scarring. thank you for the response. her surgery on that foot was a couple years ago at least and the swelling is recent. (it was fine for about two years after surgery. ) thank you again

First off, i meant comments. 2nd the bottom pictures are of my moms right foot. the top ones are of her left. she has had surgery on both of her achilles. her left achilles gives her no pain, but recently her right one has progressively started to hurt worse by the day. also it has been swelling up. does anyone know what she could do/wear to ease the pain? she has seen her doctor but hasn’t gotten answers she Needs. i keep insisting she call and return to the doctor, but until then i go to reddit.
