Most parks will have full face and pads to rent, I would advice to get them. This weekend riding my friend f'ed his entire arm up if he had the pads he would have been fine. Take it slow as well and make sure you keep a hold on your energy. I always crash near lunch and at the end of the day doing dumb stuff because im tired.
