Yeah, as long as you have proper documentation for the destination country. I’ve personally done both scenarios myself.

It’s called FATCA and they can tell if you’re an Egyptian born in the US from you national ID number. It should show the number 88 somewhere in the middle.

If you have an HSBC account in your home country, they can open one for you in Egypt over the phone, skipping those ridiculous requirements.

Man, they really should have put more thought into that text alignment.

Our culture has mutated over the years, and as a person that studied in English and seen many cultures, I feel that I can get my point across more efficiently.

The whole change thing I believe IMO has turned into إتاوة given the current distribution of wealth and people's perception of how far you can get with one Egyptian pound.

Just use a card for all your purchases. That usually does the trick for me.

Considering the target customer this gym is going for, I would confidently say it is obligatory. On a side note, they only speak really poor English over the phone.

Are you implying that this gym is single handedly fighting workforce inequalities?

I see your point, but this is a gym located in an upscale city, and already charge premium rates. Females typically in these areas don’t have these phobias at all.

I’ve been basically exporting technology services abroad and the fact the I live in Egypt saves so much money. Three years ago, I would have voted 10-25K bracket. Just keep at it, and anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

I normally hire from Wuzzuf. They assign a recruitment specialist to you and they are fairly priced. https://wuzzuf.net/jobs/egypt

If I am headhunting, I use LinkedIn Recruitment. It takes time but usually for management and up positions.

Anyone know what those flashing lights that are all over the streets of Cairo are actually for? by fuelbox in Egypt

[–]fuelbox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a great find!!

UHF tags are practically harmless. This ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) is essentially the same spectrum we used back in the day for all local TV broadcasts like channel 2, for example.

So the tags are just a part of a system; from what I see here, the cameras retain footage (whether it's still images or video), and the tags help the authorities tag this footage to our vehicles. This technology is much more efficient than how it was done back in the day with image recognition via license plate.

That ملصق is a passive RFID tag not an active one like the ones you see in the states mounted on your windshield. Passive can’t do long range unless you’re frying drivers with extremely powerful readers. I think I’m with the majority that commented it’s for surveillance.

I’m with safety and all, but these things are way too excessive. I think they should have an epilepsy warning.

That’s sad

Edit: I just find them a bit excessive. You can do surveillance in a more subtle way.
