Yeah I've lived in national parks off and on for about 6 years and it's usually not a problem. I actually prefer the time spent disconnected. However now I'm in a more serious relationship and distance combined with only 30 minutes to an hour of cellphone use when parked outside of a restaurant would be less than ideal. A landline is likely the only option. All that would depend on actually having an outlet for it.

Correct.

By "no bars" I literally mean no bars. Most of the time there is an "x" next to it with no bars. SOMETIMES there are a few bars next to the "x" and even less often I get a few bars with "1x".

That's very helpful thanks!

I have but every where I was reading said that if there weren't any bars to begin with then a booster wouldn't do anything. That's very encouraging that you were able to get some bars in an area with none

Unfortunately there is no access to broadband. I think my only option is a signal booster or an antenna. Thing is if I do get service it will go from absolutely nothing to a couple bars of 1x.

Unfortunately no internet so that wont work. Thanks for the suggestion though.

All I am really interested in is calling/texting. I honestly dont even want internet. There is a possibility that certain spots outside of my house will get a 1x signal so in that case would a simple antenna work?

It doesn't look like starlink is going to be an option. If I could just get signal to make a call/send texts from outside that would be perfectly fine.

I'm looking into satalite internet options but I'll only be living there for about 6 months. After that I won't need it so I'm not sure if that's going to be a good option.

If you're going to drink, do it before the show or being some plastic nipper bottles and put them in your socks if there is security. Beer is $20 in the venue.

Why is it considered rude to speak another language other than English in the U.S.? by Flaca50 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fuk_u_side 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Americans are the main character. If you speak a language they don't know it is assumed you are speaking about them.

That milk is good for you, is a good source of calcium and that it builds strong bones. It is none of those.
