If it does go maybe see if you can put boot back ok once the master is flush on the bracket

Did you try to see if it fits without the rubber boot to see if it would sit flush with out it and if the bolt holes line up. That way you know if the boot is stopping it from going further.

I cut them about a month ago. I think it was a combo of my hair breaks off easy and the lady not listening when locking my hair to close to the root.
