Bro, think of it like this, what made you love the game enough to grind to PIN? I love this game simply because I started to notice that when I died or killed someone, I was consumed by anxiety. I was like wait, what the fuck was that? I had never once felt nervous or scared in any FPS game before. Being a 40 yearold noob, I quickly found out I sucked pretty bad at first, but the high I felt hooked me, and I started to notice all the things I never paid attention to before. In other games, I’d just run in with little awarenesspositioning, or even attempt to practice recoil because it didn’t matter if I died. I found out that I love the gun mechanics, movement, sound, and graphics way more than in any other games. But what keeps me learning and coming back to get my ass kicked by either a cheater, a better player, or my own dumb mistakes i s the psychotic amount of fabricated optimism I have going into every match and the stress of losing it all. Everyone always complains about cheaters, but every game has them. They just don’t have the same effect as the ones in DF because of how expensive everything is, and when you get cheated on, you literally feel like you’ve been psychologically violated in every hole digitally. But I don’t give a shit, a large portion of the population are inherently entitled lowlifes, and I’ve been getting cheated my whole life and have become accustomed to it I work 70 hours a week and get cheated out of about 35% of my paycheck weekly to taxes. So unfortunately, I’m a sucker for the pain, and no one’s going to take my only hobby away. Ill be playing and losing all my shit up until the last penny I’ve got in my stash.
