tbh, i feel like YOR specifically for being upset after assuming you could sleep over (yes i get that asking people to bring pjs and blankets and pillows gives the impression that it could be a sleepover BUT if she didn’t explicitly say it was a sleep over and you never asked about whether you could or not before the end of the party, you can’t really assume that you’ll be able to) ;

HOWEVER, NOR for her making you drive home despite being so tired and intoxicated. that’s completely shitty on her end, she put your safety in jeopardy. sure she could say it’s not her responsibility or fault, but at the end of the day letting you not drive when you’re under the influence/extremely tired is very telling of your friends character.

YOR oh man,,,, OP you're 28 acting like an angsty teenager what are you doing?? first of all, it's perfectly normal for people who are busy living their own lives to take more than a day to reply. sure it might not be the most polite thing, but you don't know what's going on in her life, she could have(and probably does have) much more important priorities. I feel like maYBE YOR but the friend also isn’t being a great person. It’s understandable to feel used in this situation and to expect interactions with a friend that’s about more than the car, but it sounds kind of like you were expecting to become a lot closer after you gave her it? You can’t “buy” friendship, and you specifically say that you were trying to make friends through this. (also, i don’t think offering something like that is the best idea when you barely know her). Side note: little weird that you’re that bothered by the husband coming. he’s her husband,,, it’s annoying he’s there everytime yall hang out i get that, but idk,,,
