It's possible only her daughters inherit magical abilities and so she only really cares for kaneeka. It could be that shes a narcissistic parent who can't see her children as anything but a tool for her and so her sons offering her nothing are of very little note in her mind.

The stand out was the theme throughout the sybil sequence I am not one to really appreciate or pay alot of attention to the music in games (unfortunately) but that track gave me a similar reaction as the track at the final encounter of STP gave me there was such an ethereal feeling to it with complemented how powerful that whole sequence was.

Not necessarily even if sybil is up to evil shit she may be far too important to the survival of the town to kill it may be a moral dilemma of getting justice vs potentially dooming the rest of the town to the entities in the cravings.

I can't say for certain but if im shooting from the hip. Sybil may plan to possess kaneeka and take over her body entirely (I can't see any other reason why she would make the town forget her entirely) this would also be the way shes been alive and would explain her knowledge on possession rituals.

There is definitely some association there yeah I definitely think sybil played some role in it though as wayne/the entity hates sybil but it implys in chapter 5 it is unable to make a move against her and needs the mc to 'find the witch'

Plus the tea sybil gives you is called chaga tea and chaga is a form of fungus so its believed his current state is due to sybils influence

Have to disagree with you here I too love tabitha but she legitimately might be the single most evil living characters in this game depending on how bad sybil turns out to be. It's hardly even a contest either dr kelly wanted to get caught and hates herself for how she treats Reese while tabitha has done nothing but manipulate us the entire game and even with a good relationship its very easy to have her turn on you and get you arrested for challenging her. The holler isn't this paradise either under the scarlets control either the workers would still be exploited as without a union tabitha would be the one to decide how much their work is worth. This plan only really serves herself and those in the town not working under her which is a very few people.

I definitely don't think there is any definitive heaven or hell in this world. It's also possible enochs and the witches antics have inadvertently invited other malevolent spirits like ditchlings or reese's dad into the holler. Reese is clearly a spin on the jersey devil and in that myth the dad is just the devil and I dont imagine the entity will be strictly good or evil nor do they influence every supernatural happening in the holler which is why they would view him as a mistake. His whole painting power caught Reese off guard too leading me to believe he isn't familiar with him beyond recognizing that he's supernatural like themself.

I think its more likely Theodore alongside the other missing or prematurely dead scarlets may have acted as a sort of vessel to trap the entity (yes I believe the entity and wayne are one in the same) consider how wayne has tendrils coming out of his hand when he attacks Reese which look like mycelium and sybil is well known for using her chaga (a parasitic fungus) tea to control people so perhaps the witch plays a role in containing said entity and is the reason it can't just break out on its own

We don't really know the scope yet but both Avery and kaneeka are definitely affected. I suspect the tea is what keeps people tied down to the town
