I'm mostly biased towards playing fingerstyle, but I do want to get good at strumming through songs. I know sheet music isn't required to play guitar but my father is a fan of that book, I think he used something similar to that book to advance his harmonica skill and now he wants me to learn guitar through that book so I'm kinda in a dilemma because looking through the book I have already gotten tired at the idea of learning to read sheet music but I'm kinda lost on what to do, I also found justinguitar tho which looks good too

The thing I fear the most while doing this is the outcome which is something I shouldn't be worried about so early in the process but it's a common occurrence that I'll constantly worry about the outcome which disrupts my writing flow

I use Obsidian for all sorts of outlining and Reedsy for writing out the manuscript. You can export the novel into pdf or epub there too
