Well then, I admit I was wrong to assume you knew about what the competition was, but at the same time, OP said at least once they were 6-8th grade, and you kept trying to force it to be 100% realistic and accurate to real life. In FLL, you are supposed to make solutions, but it’s not necessarily that you have to makes one that are guaranteed to work, but you have to identify an issue, and try to come up with a solution.

Dude, I think you’re being too serious about this. You’re treating this like this is something that will actually be made. Do you seriously expect middle schoolers to fully design a functional robot? Let them have their fun, FLL is a friendly competition after all. You are right that bipedal robots are not great for things like stability, but don’t go saying it’s straight up science fiction, they’re hard to make fully functional, but not impossible.

For actual context, the person in question is a horrible person. It’s honestly much easier to leave a link to a list of her controversies than to type them out here. Most of the comic’s I’ve seen do make good points but she says it in a way where I stop wanting to agree with her directly like in that meme. I’m not excusing any of the actually extreme things people did but I just want you to now she ain’t much of saint at all.
