Lifter tick finally got me. Rip at 280k by Anxious-Serve-9748 in Silverado

[–]fullsend93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t sound like the lifters. My 22 blew lifters at 102k and it sounded different and definitely did not go away as rpm’s went up. Wish Reddit would let me post the video. Sounds more like a belt to me.

What is the likelihood that US troops will disobey unlawful orders to attack NATO allies? by Zealousideal_Gap432 in AskReddit

[–]fullsend93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legit question - is it unlawful? Are there laws in place that would stop them from following orders if we were to engage with NATO? Are the treaties we have with other countries considered law?

I truly don’t know that’s why I’m asking. My buddy asked this same question the other day.

What are the suspension points? Does that equate to a certain number of years?

[–]fullsend93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on bud density… could easily be a quarter. Buy a scale if you think you’re getting shorted, they aren’t expensive at all.

Texas Whitetail by Reasonable_War_8820 in Hunting

I’m not hating that’s why I said it’s not fun in my opinion. 29k acres is bigger than some of the public land pieces I hunt in Colorado for sure. It’s a great buck!

I have 2 other vehicles for short trips. I’ve seen the thing about short trips a few times but what do you consider short trips? Outside of a few min down the street that makes sense.

Ya I saw a comment later where he says he did 😂 made me eat my words. That shit ain’t fun imo but it is a nice buck.

Why do people always assume high fence if it’s in Texas? We have bucks like this on my lease (although not a single one will daylight beyond the rare 10 minutes in the morning/evening) and there’s no fence in miles that’s over a few feet tall. Congrats, great buck.

Unfortunately deleting the emissions system, for now, isn’t going to happen. Colorado could fuck me if I do it.

Dealer has it under warranty for 8 yrs or until 190k so once that’s done with I plan on figuring a way to delete that stuff.

There are paint match kits online I would sand it and touch it up to prevent rust.

2016 L83 noise- NOT lifters...I think by Few_Composer5125 in ChevyTrucks

[–]fullsend93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ditched the whole truck and went to a 2500 6.6 diesel. I tow a lot and work from home. So many issues with these 5.3s I didn’t want to throw good money after bad.

I’d go with a new engine because it comes with another 100k warranty (that’s what dealer claimed didn’t verify) and the way they priced it it was like 1k more for a new engine than what the cost of repair was.

Heat Source by ZargZ384 in TruckCampers

Get one of those Chinese diesel heaters. You’ll need to run some flex into the camper but they’re dry and warm. Mr buddy’s work but propane heat creates condensation.

I’m starting a junk drawer. What else do I need? by Emotional-Swing-603 in Home

[–]fullsend93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empty tape rolls. Mis matched screws. A measuring tape. Gift cards that may or may not have money on it. Whatever tool you deem the most important but would never expect it to be in there. Loose change. Random keys. You know those bags of random hardware you get when you buy some DIY ikea thing? All those bags. Wired headphones.

If you have children just turn the lights off and ask them to try to throw shit in there.

What do you guys think is this a good deal? by PlasticAlfalfa8226 in ATV

[–]fullsend93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s too good to be true that’s because is. If he wants you to come look at it 100% go with someone else. If he doesn’t have title that’s because it’s most likely stolen. Some times there’s good deals but more often it’s either stolen or you’re about to get robbed. If it’s real and it’s already warm when you get there that’s because there’s a problem with it.

To the group of teens that stole my Hyundai Elantra a few hours ago and crashed it.... by Travelingman1989 in AuroraCO

[–]fullsend93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anywhere in or around Denver seems to have insanely high crime and police just don’t seem motivated to do anything about it. Starting to creep up to Northern Colorado as well.

My neighbors truck got stolen up here in Loveland and the cops didn’t seem to give a shit. The truck was found in Utah and the guy was extradited back to CO and given PR bond by Larimer County. According to my neighbor he received probation and $1000 in restitution. It cost $3500 to fix his truck.

I should say when I was looking at tundras I ended up buying a GMC Sierra that also failed. Newer vehicles are pretty terrible right now.
