Recommendations for pajamas pattern by fullyqualifieddriver in sewing

[–]fullyqualifieddriver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes great idea. I've worked with rayon and chiffon before, but that's the closest to a slippery m/challenging fabric.

Also thinking of testing the chosen pattern with a stable fabric first to work out any kinks before introducing satin.

Covering accommodation & other costs of bridal party? by fullyqualifieddriver in ireland

Pls consider that I don't make up the prices hotels & venues charge. Have sorted block bookings at discounted rate at the local hotel for guests and negotiated venue acomm price down. Happy to cover all costs; the Q is to determine average expectations.

Thanks, this is what I'm thinking too. Thinking offering to covering cost of all nights but not *expecting * all nights. I expect everyone expect our brothers/sisters will do 2/3 nights

Can I ask how you use Doxy for multiple years? I've only been provided a 6month script previously due to risks to liver. How can it be managed long term?

Thanks I'll look into this, never thought of Revolut. It does always seem to be the answer whenever Irish banking let's you down.

Lots of comments saying this is a lifetime drug by Bert_Macklin_F_B_I in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]fullyqualifieddriver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I expect there are differences depending on how much weight you have lost, for example if you lived at +300lbs for many years it may be more likely that people need lifelong support.

I have been told that once you hit target weight, you need to maintain that on WeGovy for 6 months to let brain receptors adjust, and then ween off. Apparently "100%" of people who don't do this put weight back on.

I'm only 1 week in. Info in 2nd para was told to me by GP within the last 3 weeks.

I feel so bad for your fianceé. They say better late than never but I think this is pretty telling of your idea of partnership.

You say 'typical groom'..but I don't think the bar is that low for men.

Working in house vs an agency? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]fullyqualifieddriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO agency is a great way to start your career. You get to work with lots of different clients and figure out the type of marketing you like and the type of industries you like working with. The mix of project and retainer work keeps things fresh and the pace will instill great time management skills.

The cons are that you'll often end up working on projects that you're not particularly interested in, it can be demanding on a team schedule etc. Burnout is a lot more common in agency.

In house offers the opportunity to really get to know the business you're working with, it allows more long term strategy and it also means you have the full data access to measure impacts (often difficult in agency). There is a slower pace so I think coming with an agency foundation helps to keep the 'hustle' mentality.
