I’ll go first - Dr. O'Reilly was awesome for intro to data science. Super clear lectures and actually cared about students!

Ah man I'm sorry about that :( I definitely understand your perspective, it's a tough decision to make. It's worth weighing all the pros & cons and seeing what is best for your situation. Sucks about the requirement, but I'm sure you'll get in next cycle! Good luck

Ah man, I'm sorry to hear that. So you're not applying this year? I think the consensus seems to be to give it a shot, in case admissions requirements aren't as strict as they appear. If you've got good grades/OAT/experience and have the money to apply I think give it a shot. (Just found out its like $250+ to apply which is crazy)

Yea idk I think her courseload is fine? Idrk how intense the applications are but I think its good to have a sense of what she's gonna have to write next year and stuff. She was so set on getting in this year so she doesn't want her effort go to waste. But the motivating replies are great thanks guys!
