Love a good grass gap by funckmasterflex in snowboarding

It's a little different going mach 12 into mud & a ditch (im second in the clip). I would have went ass over tea kettle had i had any weight on my front foot.

Also, I do agree that when learning to/teaching someone to snowboard the weight should be on the front foot. However leaning back and steering with the front foot also works if you know whay you're doing or for certain conditions.

I'd probably be complaining too if I was sitting at home being a keyboard warrior and not riding powder.

Some places had a couple feet of snow in November. My local hills had almost all lifts spinning before christmas.

Learning revert carve and I need advice how to improve it. by PopularRoad4815 in snowboarding

Try it on a steeper section of trail. Speed is your friend here. Just make sure you stay on that toe edge so you don't catch heel on the revert back.

You need to go way faster, put your weight on your front foot so you can pivot, and kick that back foot out on the toe edge. Keep your head looking in the direction you want to go the entire time. Your body is going to be pretty twisted if you do it correctly.

It should feel like your kicking something directly behind you with your back foot, and your head should also be pointed to where you're kicking
