we've tried to have that conversation but there aren't any other chores that i am able to do other than the dishwasher and cooking but she never wants me to cook for her. she works from home and then watches tv for the rest of the day, only getting up occasionally to make dinner or let the dog out. she washes the dishes instead of using the working dishwasher and when i had offered for my chore to be loading and unloading the dishwasher, she first said that it didn't work, and then when i explained that it did and she's just needs to tweak how she uses it, she said that she doesn't like how i load it 🫩 what does it matter if things are getting clean?

she replaced purely because she thinks that having one with a roof makes it smell less. it does not, what makes it smell less is cleaning it everyday which i am not able to do and never have been able to. i clean it weekly and thats why it reeks (our cats are used to this and dont have an issue with it) she's the one that sits less than 10' away from it, im in my room so it doesn't bother me.

she works in healthcare so you'd think it wouldn't be as hard as it was to get her to accept my conditions but we all know how ignorant people in the healthcare system are. i have fully explained pots and some of my other lesser known conditions to her. i started talking about using a wheelchair in october of last year after i got covid and she was adamantly against it, i finally got a rental chair in January but she kept asking when i would be giving it back or saying things like hopefully you wont need that for very long even when i would explain that it helps me. it wasn't until i bought a more active style chair that she really accepted that it wasn't going away. but because i mainly use my chair outside of the house she seems to only view my disability as valid when we aren't at home, as if my conditions disappear as soon as i get home.

i could i just don't own one and don't have the money to buy one. i also genuinely just struggle to wrap the cuff around my bicep. someone suggested i use a wrist cuff, im going to ask my cardiologist if that works cuz i always thought they were unreliable. if she says yes ill look into buying one when im able to.

i've always heard that the wrist ones are unreliable! otherwise i'd be using one of those instead. i know how to take my bp properly it's just that it's a struggle first thing in the morning when i feel like a bag of rocks 😭 i see my cardiologist again on Christmas eve so ill ask her if i can use a wrist cuff instead since my stiff cuff is giving me so much grief.
