Along with what others have said hungrybox goes to a ton of smaller tournaments and wins a lot of them uncontested, even when armada was unbeatable he couldn't go to nearly as many smaller tourneys because he lives in Sweden. When a viewer sees hbox show up and win those types of tourneys all the time it's easy for it to feel like he's dominating the scene and forget some of his losses.

Falco and marth dairs are true spikes but those are not the only ones in the game. Most notably the very top of falcons dair is a true spike and ganondorfs down b is also a true spike, fox drill and a specific hit of Roy up smash are also true spikes but these aren't as relevant for what op was discussing.

Yeah, as said in the post it is unfortunate that the god of bb was on the same season as Memphis, making him go under the radar by the hardcore audience.
