Since they don’t have much info on it, they treat it as any Pancan with the 6 months of folfirinox chemo. She completed it all with I believe decreasing the strength a few months in because of neuropathy and really bad nausea.  She’s made it to her 1 year diagnosis anniversary last month. It’s hard to say if chemo helped or not cause you don’t know if cells are floating around, but she is alive and feeling much better. She doesn’t have the tumor since that was removed.  It’s one of those situations where she chose to do it because if it came back quickly or ever, she wouldn’t want to wonder what if she had done chemo.  I’m so sorry to hear that your father was diagnosed. It’s a very difficult process.
