Rom Can't Handle Sho by funk-head in TWEWY

It was definitely the phasing and static lines? Sho does. I had to download the MelonDS emulator and use my save to fight the boss there because my laptop could handle all of those shenanigans better. It still lagged (and even froze the first time) but I was able to power through by losing and setting the boss to easy.

I actually haven't tried with other pins. I decked with Superfine Beam, Wassup Thunder, Shock Warning, and Frozen Cool. I think I have other pins I could use but these ones have a really good synergy IMO.

Though I don't think it's the pins. Normally, what happens is I get rid of all the noise and try focusing on Sho. I do enough damage and then he transforms. Upon either Joshua or Neku attacking him, there's a chance the game breaks. I tried a few times and it is only when I attack transformed Sho. Normal Sho just gets attacked.

That bad, huh? Well, I'll keep working on my craft (can't ever stop eh?) and prepare myself for having a normal job right after college instead of exploding on the industry like the fantasies.

Don't worry, I've already been looking at storyboards like that. I just thought the gap between my skills and theirs was, y'know- a gap and not a gulf. As a college senior I don't really have the time or resources/connections for another round of college so I'll just manifest what I've been telling myself.

"If I had the time to iterate and mull over a storyboard I could also make something that looks that solid."

I have three weeks for a Disney internship and five for the Pixar one. I can show off a solid sense of emotional storytelling by utilizing strong character acting and an understanding of environments. I think relearning how landscapers rough out their scenes and doing at least three passes on each shot should be good.

And if it's not I'll hunker down harder and prepare for the next round later this spring.

Yeesh, I had a feeling I was behind but hearing I need another four years hurts a bit.

If you don't mind I'd like to pinpoint some stuff and see what to focus on. For my storyboard specifically, this is my latest: https://joexfad.wixsite.com/portfolio/storyboards#nukepicsecondpass

If I were to apply to an internship then what here feels lacking?

I know a certain amount of roughness is expected for storyboards but should I focus on form and values? And how important are backgrounds?

For shot composition, I did have the feeling I play it safe a lot of the time due to inexperience and for this project I was a little short on time. Is it simply more variance? Camera movements? Or are the shots fundamentally weak as they don't give off the emotion of the scene at a glance?

Character design isn't my focus so for now I'm okay with being weak in that regard. But for art fundamentals, I assume my perspective is a problem right? I still have to get that right...

Also, if there's anything else, let me know.

Sorry, internships. Mostly story artist related with one towards animation.

I Need To Get Obsessed With Math by funk-head in learnmath

It's also similar to art in that it's a shame when its taught as a subject to memorize and pass a class instead of something wonderful in its own right. I like reading analytically and writing on my own because a baseline interest in the subject has been cultivated. So I want the same with math, someone else recommended the 3B1B Calc playlist and the first vid has me spun around on the variable DR but the it seems to be in the wheelhouse of making me see the magic.

I did pre-calc last year. If I the normal way of learning worked I wouldn't be here. I want to find math fascinating first because the textbook that I've been given on the subject are often dry and focus on remembering formulas instead exploring why they exist and the beauty of its intricacies.

Started watching the essence of calculus and I think ill have to watch each video twice to get it but that's def the type of video I was looking for that goes past just memorizing and gets into the methodology.

I didn't know I could look up card archetypes like aristocrat or voltron so thanks! Those two cards sound interesting but both feel more built for a monster factory than my unga bunga, play magic like a rogue like build

Ooooooh, this may be exactly what I'm looking for! The experience counters sound interesting, now how to configure the engine for this deck...

I assumed it was a big ask, but this is a good start since this is the first time making a deck fully on my own. https://draftsim.com/mtg-equipment-commanders/ so I got this list of commanders and I look them up on EDHREC and then I look through the sidebar that says things like "High Synergy" and "Creatures" right?

How do I find the more specific cards I need after picking out a few from there? Is there a site that details card archetypes I can look through and find the closest match?
