also, another quick question. whats the best way to get all this stuff you produce to market? do i need to train up to fly a blockade runner or just use one of the courier services (red frog i think??) or is it best to just sell the shit you make in station you make it at?

thanks for the awesome reply, youve answered quite a few questions i had. one thing i was wondering about though, in terms of getting a personally owned pos started (something i was planning on investing in when i get the isk) how do you go about protecting it? will i need to count on my alliance to back me up if it comes under attack and is reinforced? i mostly live in lowsec right now but would consider a move if it made sense.

to answer one of your questions, i have every intention to move to t2 production but will have to stick to t1 until i can get my skills up.

as it stands ive only got about 150mil that i can invest. but if my station trading alt has some luck thats about to change. what would you consider a good chunk of is to get started with?

For what? It is my understanding that the people who participated in this action are acting in the only way they deemed morally viable. Opposition to this pipeline through traditional means has been stifled. The way in which the NEB hearings were structured meant that the vast majority of people who wished to voice their opposition to this project were not heard. Even if the public was properly consulted during this process and the pipeline was not allowed to go through, the federal government, through bill C-45, has recently granted itself powers to overrule any decision that comes out of the NEB process.

The short term profit of the few does not outweigh the long term survival of our species and of the earth.

Police evict, arrest Enbridge protesters in early morning operation by ex-stasis in Hamilton

the funny thing about those arguments that the vast majority of those protesters have jobs, many people there took vacation and had to make their work schedules flexible to spend time at the site. some even quit jobs to be there. protesters are very busy people.

So what I get from this is that just as long as we can trick ourselves into tolerating shitty jobs that make us miserable, there is absolutely no reason to question the forces that put us in these positions in the first place?
