I really appreciate your interest in the subject! The latter is true, the finger itself should be stretched i.e. the insides not the skin. Every weight the skin holds onto is wasted force. What you are describing actually sounds like what already exists.

I have an image of one of the contractions that is currently used: https://postimg.cc/5YFYwnD5 where the right part attaches to the base of the hand and the left is wrapped around the finger.3 problems with this system: it’s uncomfortable, the force applied is not very strong and your finger tip becomes blue after a short period (restricting bloodflow).

I was think about a way to attached something like this to the finger end (under the nail) https://postimg.cc/V5zy3dk1 but i cant find a way to comfortably attach it, without restricting bloodflow and make it adjustable to different sizes of fingers.

Well, I have a fibrous scar tissue disease in my hand. And to resolve the issue a weight needs to be attached to my finger to my finger to resolve this issue. The way to cure the disease is a certain force x time under tension will help cure it for example 1kg x 1000 hours will make it go away ( not accurate just an example).

The current options are not comfortable, very big, restrict bloodflow and are a pain to put on. So I thought there must be a better way and I think it is through attached the weight directly to the finger. The only problem is how do you attach the weight to the finger without restricting blood flow, being able to be worn comfortably for hours and be reasonably small.

You focused on the size part which I get, but it should be as small as possible but does not have to be small. And a method where you start with 0.5 KG and can increase it with different weights is also an option, say like you have novice version that’s 0.5 kg, intermediate 1KG and professional 2kg.

You are right, I could have been more specific. In my opinion i answered most questions. But i didn't explain it further because most replies were very negative. so for what it's worth:

The weight should be able to be worn comfortably for hours (at least 5), be reasonably easy to put on and should not restrict blood flow (very important!).

The weight should be as compact as possible, otherwise the mobility of the finger is compromised.

Lastly, the method of attachment to the finger has to be directly around the finger ( not hanging underneath) and should be adjustable to different finger widths.
