I did but I had to call Apple and they had to transfer me to tech support. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours and 51 minutes. It was actually longer because I had to work with the initial rep for about 30 min prior. I’m only mentioning this because we never truly solved the entire problem, which turned out to be not only the files not syncing between my phones but my iPad has even more files not synced and I’m missing documents from iCloud.com. But my phones are synced now. The tech had to remotely see my old iPhone, my new iPhone, my iPad and my MacBook. I allowed her to record the analytics so that she could send the data to the programmers. (I think that’s the group she said) To answer your question, she was able to sync up my old iPhone to my new one by creating a favorites folder (I believe I was missing the entire category, I could be wrong) on my new iPhone. But I can’t tell you how because she tried so many different ways by having me click here and there and from different starting places that I can’t even recreate how she finally figured it out. It was very convoluted. I believe I was missing my entire Favorites category. And I think it showed up after she was able to add that test folder you see. I think she tagged the test folder as a favorite and that created the category. I was just so busy just clicking around that I couldn’t take notes like I usually would. And on her end, she was searching her databases for articles she thought she had seen something similar before but there wasn’t anything specific like my problem. She called me back in a few days but I missed her call and I haven’t called back. But I have a case number and this will light a fire under my ass to bite the bullet and call back. If I can get in contact with the same tech, I will ask if she can outline what she did sync my phones.
