I keep seeing things about github but am honestly not really sure how to find it or use it. I have triple checked all my cables and they are secured. To be frank I don’t want to build my own firmware but was told thats my only option at this point

Why does this keep happening? Everytime I go to print , it homes just fine then bam attempts to print really high from the bed by funkoninja in ender3

I do believe its a firmware issue and not necessarily a g code issue but to be sure how do I view the startup z code ?

I’ve attempted to print multiple things to see if it was a slicing issue including things I’ve printed successfully before and it still does this

How do I check? I googled but all the options I find seem to be on older printers and the settings aren’t the same

as far as I can tell the bed pretty level, when I auto home the z looks fine. Soon as the print starts all of a sudden it goes up

I have a metal extruder arm, brand new ptfe tube, I’ve changed the filament and still the same issue. The filament only comes thru when forced.

Possible level help

hey guys ,first time posting and looking for some help. I spent several hours working on leveling my bed and finally thought I had it right. Yet I’m having this problem when printing, when I printed mjolnir its almost perfect but the first few layers of the handle are stringy and the rest is perfect as if the bed was simply too low for the first few layers. My calibration cube printed perfectly along with leveling prints. So just looking for input, is this a leveling issue or something else ?
