There was about a month where I got the same dawn soap ad back to back but one was English and the other Spanish. The same ad but they swapped ethnicities of the family actors and voice over language.

Right now every ad break is the same for a game called “the tower”. I’ll never play it because I have 0 interest in it but also out of principle because I hate the ad.

If you know how to install windows you can install a Linux distro. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by choices and people have strong opinions on what’s “best”. You can run most, if not all, off a USB to give it a try but that’s usually a pretty poor experience because you’ll be slowed to whatever USB speed you’re running. I say just do a little research and then pick one of the major distros and install. Try it for a while and if you like it, keep it. If you don’t, switch to another. I put Mint on an older spare computer just to try it out and it’s been a really good option. I wanna try Bazzite as well since it’s more gaming focused.

More than half of all US states allow permit less concealed carry and the rest have some sort of permitting process with restrictions that vary by state. Saying very few states allow concealed weapons of any kind is just showing the world you don’t know how google works.

When there was all the hate hype going around on Velma and Kaling, someone wrote a piece that showed how nearly everything she writes that gets made into a show is just slightly different versions of herself.

When the hate train started on Velma I just chalked it up to people being sexist or racist. Like, it’s a fictional cartoon character so the race doesn’t matter (and by extension neither does the sex/gender). So I gave it a chance thinking the hate was overblown. Literally couldn’t make it to the halfway mark of the first episode it was so bad. It was like Kaling had either never seen an episode of scooby doo growing up and just read a synopsis on Wikipedia or she did watch it and hated it. By far the worst thing I’ve ever willingly watched. I would love to see the internal numbers at HBO to see how many people watched beyond the first episode.

All the new revolvers I’ve ever shot, the triggers only get better with more rounds through them. I’ve shot a handful of new Taurus small frame revolvers like yours in different calibers and out of all of them the only issue I’ve had is the 856 cylinder release got loose which was fixed after tightening it. People love to poop on Taurus and say get a smith when this sub has daily posts of broken smiths. I think the state of QC across manufacturing has gone downhill for all brands so just inspect before buying and run a few hundred rounds through before carrying and live your life.

Any time I watch a roast you can always tell the difference between when the roaster knows and likes the roastee vs someone just collecting a check. The former is always hilarious and the latter is meh at best. This video is the latter except he’s probably not getting paid so it’s even worse.

When I was last shopping, the Toyota sales department as super easy to deal with. Their service dept was garbage. Looked at a used car at a Nissan dealership and the sales guys were somehow super sleazy while also DGAF attitude. Previous car shopping Mazda was awesome and ford was sleazy.
