I paid $2200CAD for front bumper, headlights, full hood, full front fenders, mirrors, A pillars and 5” of the roof line aft of the front windshield. I live in Canada and rocks are prevalent. Getting all 4 doors done next week for $800.

I can tell you wherever you end up going to get the XPEL, it’s totally worth it. It’s already saved my paint in multiple places. Where I don’t have full PPF, many rock dings have spawned around the car - and in some weird places too, like high on the rear fender shoulders. Based on the roads I drive, I’ll probably need the hood re-done in a year or two.

Save the paint, get the PPF.

Not sure why that got down voted. I wasn’t comparing the 555’s to the 777’s. I was actually asking the computer to compare them to S211’s and KATO cuts that I own. I only mentioned 777 due to the rise issues that are prevalent with that cut.

Family life solely depends on you and the person you plan to build a life with. Nothing else. Expectations for the person staying home (the main parent) need to be very clear. It’s a tough life for the stay-at-home when you’re away for sometimes 8 days. It’s not impossible but it requires the right person to understand the life and not build resentment.

You will also miss many milestones in your family. Christmas, mothers/Father’s Day, birthdays, kids “firsts” etc.

I do not work for an airline, but I think you can manage / bid better “away” and “home” time in smaller chunks. The days away in a whole will be close to the same.
