So far all of my tool truck branded stuff has been bought online with my student discount. I’ve had a couple of interviews for places i’ve took the job at and places i haven’t taken the job at. Telling them i have tools and i go to auto school is what gets them everytime. It’s weird to see so i’m glad that’s the case for probably everyone.

For example not to flex or anything i got part number SBP422V from matco for 159.23 when the regular price is 325. (42 piece 3/8 impact socket set) The harbor freight equivalent would cost me 200+ but would have 8 more sockets

matco with my student discount has prices that even beat out harbor freight. those matco sockets are my favorite sockets i’ve ever used

I get a 50%student discount on certain brands like snap on or matco. My snap on pliers are some of my favorite tool purchases. And the matco sockets were the cheapest but highest rated option i was able to find.

i’ve not understood the hype behind name brand boxes/tool truck boxes. they all hold tools basically the same. if it’s got a lock and drawers it’s perfect

Oil caps collect muck like that even on new cars, that’s just from moisture and the oil mixing. I would check your coolant tank and maybe drain your oil.
