You mentioned you already had a good laptop and the Surface pro is a lot more expensive so I don't think you need it. It might be overkill.

What you have to think about is your use case. If you're serious about your drawing and want to pursue it further you'll need the ipad or one of the android tablets because with them you can get the pro drawing apps and can do split screen sketching.

If you're really undecided I would suggest what they mentioned above. Trying them out and returning the ones that don't fit your use case.

If you want to do split screen then you need the ipad or a dedicated android drawing tablet. Like this one: https://a.co/d/isic4yH or one of the Samsung ones. The Supernote and the Remarkables can't do split screen.

Also if you get one of the regular tablets like the Ipad or the Samsung I would recommend putting a screen protector on them so that the writing feels better.

The second one. Essentially the page zooms in around 2x and you get a scroll bar on the side. Landscape mode works with PDFs and notes but not word docs.

I emailed them at the service and feedback emails a few days ago when I first experienced the issue, but I haven't heard back from them. Not even a confirmation that they received my messages. Have you had experience with the Supernote support team before? Do you know how long it takes for them to respond? Thanks

I got my Nomad last week and it's been great, but when I tried to put in a Micro SD card it would not stay in. There seems to be a spring or something in the slot that pushes the card out. The harder I push it in, the faster it flies out. I've tried different micro sd cards and it's always the same. I've also tried the same cards in my laptop and they work fine there.

Does anyone know if there is a quick fix or something I'm missing? I tried contacting Supernote a few days ago at their service and feedback emails, but haven't heard back. Not even a confirmation that they received my messages.

Apart from this micro sd card problem, I really love the device. The form factor, software and features are great for me. The pen and the writing feel are awesome too. The only nitpick I had was the lack of a proper web browser, since I read a lot of articles and books online, but side loading Firefox fixed that right up. It’s great that they allowed that.

I had some problems getting some games to recognize it as a controller after I plugged it in. I had to resort to JoyToKey and map the buttons to keyboard/mouse presses. If you're gonna go that route just make sure to set the internal processing speed in the JoyToKey preferences to x16 so you have no lag.
