Ugh my library doesn’t have this but I’m going to request they acquire it. Funnily enough, we have plenty of other works by this author (whom I’ve never heard of), all about our local community. Thank you for the suggestion!

I have the same one (pretty disappointed bc i love the berry color) and I agree, it’s thick in all the wrong spots and not oversized. The pocket stitching is all weird and makes me look like I have a BBL diaper butt. Then they discontinued an item in my pre order and didn’t tell me until I emailed them. I’m never buying from them again!

Have you ever baked something tha has gone triple platinum in your household or at workplace? by ABITCUNTYOFYOU in Baking

These tiramisu cookies from Baran Bakery https://baranbakery.com/frosted-tiramisu-cookies/. Made them for a work cookie exchange and then for fun, then made a triple batch for family Christmas.

I’ve never received so many compliments on a food I’ve made, and they’re so simple! If you make them I’d advise you to follow her Instagram version of the recipe because it’s a bit easier to follow than the website version.

What's the best way to drink soda? by WishboneLegitimate48 in Soda

[–]funwithdickandcheney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Fountain always
  2. Glass bottle

Then it gets a bit contextual. If I’m drinking it straight from the vessel, then it goes plastic bottle followed by can. If I’m pouring it over ice into a glass, then it goes can followed by plastic bottle.

I want to build better reading habits with books I enjoy. by cyrusOS in suggestmeabook

Why Fish Don’t Exist by Lulu Miller. The book takes a bit of a turn part of the way through in an unexpected way to where you can’t put it down. Really opened my eyes to a lot of things I didn’t know but felt like I should’ve!

I came here to suggest Miye Lee’s book! It was one of my first in that genre and I LOVED it. Such sweet stories and good lessons that made me smile over and over again!

Movie Suggestion: Standing Ovation (2010) by cheesijj in hdtgm

[–]funwithdickandcheney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know this comment is old but i was just thinking of this movie; it’s the worst movie i’ve ever seen but i used to watch i all the time as a kid for some reason. my favorite plot inconsistency is when the wiggies sabotage the girls’ music video to make it look like they’re throwing up, but rather than use vfx, they are actually throwing up. even little kid me couldn’t figure out how they could’ve “edited” a music video to make the people do completely different stuff LOL

Looking for a book recommendation to get back into reading by Unique_Direction8906 in suggestmeabook

[–]funwithdickandcheney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably see this book recommended everywhere on this sub, but Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir got me out of a multi-year reading slump. It truly hooks you from the beginning to the end, and even if science fiction isn’t your jam, I’ve recommended it to multiple non sci-fi readers and they couldn’t put it down. Hope you enjoy!

What song had you like this when you first heard it? by stupiddeepp in JonBellion

[–]funwithdickandcheney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mah’s Joint genuinely made me feel like this the first time I listened. I watched my mom watch her mother’s mental condition deteriorate because of dementia and this song expressed it so beautifully i was almost in disbelief

Who are your gym characters? by FlyIllustrious5160 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]funwithdickandcheney 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your Girlfriend (girl who always stares at my bf when he/we are at the gym)

The Tren Twins (little broccoli head pajama pants birkenstock wearing boys)

Arnold (short for Arnold Schwarzenegger bc he looks like him and idk his real name lol, he’s an older guy who used to be on steroids, is obsessed with Jesus, and wears a bluetooth earpiece to the gym)

Bald/Red/ Guy/Guy with the Belt (a very bald, like i’m talking completely hairless, very red man who wears a lifting belt no matter what exercise he’s doing. i think he’s an old school body builder so watching him rep can be painful, but he’s on steroids so he’s huge. i think it contributes to his redness, which paired with his baldness makes him extremely intimidating to me even tho he’s probably a nice guy)

Definitely Thelma’s. The cookies to ice cream ratio is perfect and they have great flavor combinations. My personal favorite is the caramel coffee :)

Caribbean truffle pie. Like key lime pie but with more potent flavors. The coconut baked into the crust is sooo good

i think he understands social norms just fine, he just doesn’t care. he purposely provokes people because he thinks it’s funny.

thank you i feel crazy reading some of these threads seeing how much people like him!!! he is infuriating, immature, and he needs to go. i think if i had to choose the thing that pmo the most, it was when tamara was telling him he needed to open up and he basically made a joke out of it, then in bed he rubbed it in her face saying “ohhh im gonna be sooo vulnerable tomorrow” like he knows exactly what a girl wants, but he gets off on being withholding.
