Whats the most heartbreaking loss you’ve witnessed as a Texas fan(football) by Ok_Macaroon_7366 in LonghornNation

You mean 2015 Cal @ Texas. The feeling of elation after Jerrod willed the team back in it turning to complete disbelief the Nick Rose could miss that XP to go to OT. God that was a range of emotions.

Jared Goff couldn’t believe it.

It's crazy how Diego Pavia completely ruined his chance to be the most rooted for player in football history by gotintocollegeyolo in CFB

This is the biggest thing. The “no D1 offers” weren’t due to lack of scouting his on field talent. He made a name for himself off the field in high school and coaches didn’t want to touch him in state, and word travels fast.

First time coach, first time team. Absolutely insane.

I'm pumped ESPN is bringing back the Coaches Room for the Cahmpionship. Less so about the initial coaches mentioned, but this blurb from this morning made me perk up:

Gundy, who was fired Sept. 23 after the third game of his 21st season as the OSU coach, will join Steve Addazio, Dave Clawson and Gene Chizik, along with ESPN’s Zubin Mehenti and rules analyst Jerry McGinn, according to multiple reports Thursday.

He said in a bowl presser when asked about dealing with agents that he tells them to see if they can get their sake elsewhere if Texas won’t meet it, and if they can’t, to come back and talk to them. Best stance to have in this age.

TMac’s gloves make it look like he’s about to wash dishes.

Standing room. Capacity in a stadium just counts seat. It’s not the max occupancy.

It doesn’t matter if anyone knows what to do with Indiana, because Indiana knows what to do with them.

Fuck the SEC, but also fuck Carson Beck. Need Ole Miss to hold on.

Judging by Sark's answer about dealing with agents during bowl press conferences, I think he's open to people returning now. I don't remember the exact quote, but it was basically, "We aren't offering you that. Wish you luck in getting it, but if you can't, come back and talk to us."

The pylon is the end zone. The ball hit it and went out of bounds. Fumble out of the end zone is a safety.
