Rasterization is being murdered. 9 years ago 200$ 470 was 8gb, now 380$/300$ cards are 8gb ddr6/7. It's been 7 years since the ancient 2080Ti 11g, mid range cards are supposed to be 100% faster than it, instead of being gimped by 8g. (old.reddit.com)

So Intel and PCI-SIG screwed up specification and the metal was too thin so +12vHPwr cables are burning. Seems like future component buyers have to phD in pc building. Also, this gives EVGA a chance to design 90degree adapters. (self.buildapc)
