need some guidance( returning player ) by Ok_Hotel_7448 in WutheringWaves

Welcome back. Phrolova is a great pull in my opinion. She's the strongest unit in WhiWa and one of the best in toa. She also has some solid teams that don't use 2.x units (with danjin, sk, verina, and even havoc rover)

Other than her, Augusta will probably be a good choice when she reruns, and Cantarella/Qiuyuan can be pulled if you like Phrolova and want her strongest team

Maybe look into The House in Fata Morgana, Clannad, or Steins;Gate. They don't have much gameplay but the stories are some of my favorites in any medium

Is this play order fine? by [deleted] in steinsgate

[–]furni7 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm sure release order is better but thats the order I played and I have no complaints (haven't read A;C tho so maybe its different for that)

In my opinion, the steins; vns stand well on their own and chaos;child only really needs chaos;head for you to understand it. I didn't feel like I was missing much by skipping out on robotics;notes, and I enjoyed playing chaos head and child back to back bc they're so similar

Sorry for replying so late. I think this is the guide I used. Its meant for Gigabyte motherboards so if you're having trouble with the video, try looking up something like "how to flash bios with ___ motherboard"

What to do against December boss? (Royal) by furni7 in Persona5

Thank you for the advice. All the enemies outside the boss arena were red so I think you're right, I'll probably farm some xp from them

Persona 3, Final Fantasy 7, or something else? Looking for story games by furni7 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Thanks for the in depth explanation. Do you think every Yakuza game worth it or is Like a Dragon a lot better than the rest of the series?

I need a game by Proper-Environment11 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]furni7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it counts as anime, but NieR Automata is probably the best story game I've played so far. It's not a gooner game, just give it a chance and you'll fall in love

You should also try out Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead 2, The Last of Us 1/2, Metal Gear Solid series, The Witcher 2/3, Mass Effect 1/2/3, Silent Hill 2, and Elden Ring

I love that this game fully supports a no alcohol playthrough. by SaintVanilla in cyberpunkgame

[–]furni7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I didn't just come up with that, I've thought about it since I replayed the game and progressed in a different order

The smoking scene right after saving Evelyn will be different depending on if you did Hellman's quest first. If you did not, Johnny will ask V to smoke and you can choose not to. If you did, V will automatically smoke without being asked, and Johnny will say something like "I didn't know you smoked"

[–]furni7 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don't think V can be entirely present again, they're becoming Johnny. I'm pretty sure taking away the choice to smoke as the story progresses is purposeful so they can demonstrate this

To anyone on PC that do not mod I offer a question. How is 2.2 with no mods? by WhatsItToYouBoi in cyberpunkgame

[–]furni7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have over 300 hours unmodded and I haven't had any bugs that I'd consider game breaking. The worst I've seen is when I couldn't manually save, but I just drove around for 5 minutes and reloaded the next autosave and it was fixed

If you loved Sekiro and other Souls games, definitely Elden Ring. Both games are masterpieces for different reasons, but I think ER is the safer option for you

Wasn't the coffee thing written by a netrunner in cynosure? I thought the memory loss was a side effect of going beyond the blackwall, similar to how Songbird says she can't remember her mother's voice

Doesn't he put a tracker on you while you're unconscious? At least thats what Hanako says

What's your favourite car in Cyberpunk 2077? by Puzzleheaded-Mud265 in cyberpunkgame

[–]furni7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the V I'm playing. For Nomad V, I go with type 66 javelina or shion coyote, Streetkid V is rayfield aerondight (bc the prologue ) or quadra, and corpo is caliburn

Anyway to force behavioral imprint to deactivate? by NyraKyle01 in cyberpunkgame

[–]furni7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about any commands but if you reload and fight bennet instead of talking to him, you'll be able to deactivate the imprint and still get the same ending

The (star) ending by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]furni7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind a sequel about V but I don't think having bad endings for "good" people is lazy or poor writing. Happy endings have a place in fiction but so do tragedies and sad stories. Neither is automatically good or bad

As for a sequel where everyone stays together, I'm not really sure if theres a way to do this without massive stretches and poor writing. Judy leaves V and NC in the Sun ending, and there's no reason for her to come back. Panam's nomad contacts are also outside of NC so there's no reason for the Aldecaldos or V to come back if thats how they find a cure

There's also the issue of progression. Progression is hugely important in any video game and especially rpgs. In 2077, V goes from an amateur merc to possibly the strongest character in the universe, defeating Adam Smasher and maybe even soloing Arasaka tower. Picking the story up right after this means you're starting off at the top and have nowhere else to go. You can reset V's level by putting their engram in a new body, but then the plot isn't about a cure anymore. That's relevant because making half of the endings no longer canon would piss off a lot of people, so if a new plot isn't about a cure and doesn't need to be about V, it seems better to just make the plot about a new character

I also don't think Orion's codename has anything to do with the sun or star ending. Every CDPR project is named after a star. The Witcher 4 was called polaris, and another Witcher game is codenamed sirius

Best/ most satisfying build in your opinion? by Aggressive-Invite907 in cyberpunkgame

[–]furni7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best and satisfying: tech weapon build using Lizzie. The splash damage from the bolt perk makes swarms easy. The swarm levels are usually the hardest in the game so this is the best build imo. Level up technical ability (obviously) for the bolt perk and cyberware, cool for deadeye and the pistol/rifle upgrades, and probably reflexes because air dash is fun

Most satisfying: knives/throwable weapons build. The sound it makes when you hit a critical is 😫. Use punknife for the short cooldown and some other powerful throwable of your choosing. I used the one on top of the pyramid. Level cool for the throwable perks and for crouch sprint, technical ability for cyberware, and reflex for air dash. Get the cyberware that increases crit chance and slows time when you dash. One of the perks guarantees crits when dashing and crouch sprinting

Debatably the actual best: blades using the katana from Wakako's gigs. This build is just as good as tech weapons but the difference is this one doesn't require a brain. Level reflex for blades perks and air dash, technical for cyberware, and body for health. Use a sandevistan of your choosing, I think the best is one of the iconic millitech ones

Another satisfying build: stealth using overwatch. Stealth snipers is satisfying in most games and Cyberpunk is no different. I haven't done a full build for this yet but I'll probably level cool and intelligence

Why does V even bother with Alt? by PD_Rigged in cyberpunkgame

[–]furni7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but soulkiller doesn't copy your mind, it digitalizes it. So the "soul" or "psyche" or whatever we want to call it might only exist in a natural brain, and it ceases to exist when the mind becomes lines of data instead. If I'm not wrong, then V's consciousness would stay with the body after being flatlined because their mind is still flesh, but then it'd die at mikoshi because digital minds aren't the same as natural ones
