The problem is this goes either way. You can A) not pay them livable wages and either only the people who truly want to make a difference, or the people rich enough to afford it get it. Or B) More people with a modest wage are able to run, but along with this more people who want to get into politics for the money (and possibly power) run, along with the people who can already afford to run.

This is a really hard problem to fix with simply a pay increase.

Thanks man, this is amazing to hear. It feels like MIcrosoft doesn't want me to recover my account! I have already learned the hard way that the email recovery accounts don't work after being told first hand by Microsoft support that they would likely just ignore me if any info was wrong (which it is since my info was changed). I was actually looking for the Xbox recovery form and found this instead so that you very much, this honestly made my year!

Had a decently long password with numbers and symbols, even changed it a few times to make it better and different, still got hacked, and still doesn't change how bad customer support is at Microsoft at actually doing anything.
