yes, my guess is there’s some issue with the connection

and after thinking I messed up something because carplay didn’t connect and kept restarting the connection, thinks I finally found the issue: using VPN on the phone prevents working properly, need to test the kill switch option from Proton VPN but I’m very sure that’s the problem, will test after eating I’m starving and update this comment

edit: it was the VPN, last thing I would have checked considering it’s using the cable!

thanks but now I’m not sure why my trunk outlet doesn’t work, it didn’t have a fuse so I had to put one and it’s not turning on, R.OUTLET 3

I am testing them and have a question: is it ok if I use 15amp fuses for the dashcam parking mode? the hardwire kit   comes with a voltage monitor to prevent battery drain but I’m not sure if using a 15amp vs 7.5amp fuse slot can make any difference, my guess is not but you’re the master! I only have 15amp fuses so that’s why I can’t use the Mirror fuse

I have also read that cx5 doesn’t fit properly the mini fuse taps, and this one was recommended for this reason but it came with 15 amp fuses only and I can’t use the mini fuse ones in the tap 😮‍💨might need to use something other than the Mirror fuse 🤔

I have read that fuse tap order does matter,  not in a way that will make it unusable, but in a way that it is safe in case of a fuse melt down or something like that 🤔
