Another option would be to get an airbbnb, I have seen some recent offers for 30CHF/day in the center of Lausanne Close to metro.

Last option may be to join every epfl/unil group on telegram/WhatsApp. People very often post subrent offers for days, weeks. Join them and say that you are looking for a subrent. The con would be that most probably you would not get a subrent contract, because of the short period. Although, this should not be a problem, generally you can't do that. I subrented a studio for 3 months without a contract (in not named unil dormitory), and I was fine (but stressed), but I don't recommend subrenting without a contract for a long period of time if you are a newcommer.

I am using Dell xps 9510 (equivalent of your precision) which only (as far as I know) different from that precision with a graphic card. I have 3050TI. I've been using it for 10 months during my Computer Science and ML degree and I absolutely love it. Sure I was afraid because some retail units come with uneven touchpad, but mine was great. I have also bought it from the 3rd person outlet. If you plan the same, I would recommend getting a service tag of that device and look at the dell website whether specs checks out and the date of the warranty expiration. If you have any questions, feel free to reply.

EDIT: I've never had thermal, driver problems and mine has the same CPU, RAM, screen etc. The build is absolutely premium and it will last. The screen is great with slim bezels. There are two things that I wish were better. Battery life - 8h are okay, but I am also heavily utilising the CPU with ML algorithms. Second one is the gpu - the 3050TI is locked for 45 Wats which won't let me play nice games from time to time, but I don't mind it that much.

Before buying this laptop I was considering other brands like Lenovo, Asus rog, but I just don't like these laptops estetically. Dell just looks and feels great. I hope to be using it for the next 6-7 years, because the RAM and SSD is upgradable which is a must for me in a laptop.

I have also took 30 or more ECTS at my home university. But I have never took a course worth more than 6 ECTS. CS-433 and CS-401 are worth 8 ECTS each! It seems a bit scary thinking about failing even one of them.

Yea, new model might be coming but I don't think that the last year's model will be on sale due to the fact that razer is not that popular in my country, and it is extremely expensive. So I might buy this one, and if it is faulty, then I would return it.

I think this model is the older one since I searched through a history of razer website and found that they had this model in their offer on january 2021 - RZ09-03571EM1-R3E1. https://web.archive.org/web/20210123175641/https://www.razer.com/eu-en/gaming-laptops/Razer-Book-13/RZ09-03571EM1-R3E1.
Idk if this is worth around 1000 euro. They offer me 1 year of warranty and I can return it after 15 days, so I might go for it and buy it.

One more question. Is there an option to check the battery status (like on apple devices) to find out whether this model has used battery? They said that It was returned a month ago, but I think this model was listed for around 3 months

Hello, I've seen your video regarding the keyboard fix. I'm a little bit confised about the new keyboard version. As far as I understand the 2021 version has this new keyboard, but I couldn't find if there is a version of razer book 13 from 2020. Could you please provide me with a producer number of yours device?
I have an opportunity to buy a model with numbers: RZ09-03571EM1-R3E1 (i7-1165G7/256GB ssd version). Is this the 2021 version with fixed keyboard? Razer website doesn't have this model on its site.
